Microwave Technologies Association

This week we had our last meeting of the year. Held in the science museum in London. One of the curators Helen Peavitt had arranged to show us some relevant exhibits and we were all impressed. The first microwave oven magnetron, a range of microwaves in the appliance section and a microwave oven even appeared in the iconic items section.

The Microwave Technologies Association was set up in 1978 to promote the benefits of Microwave cooking. Members range from large companies to individuals who are involved in microwave ovens, whether like us in servicing and repairing, to food technologists to manufacturers. Keen to promote the benefits and if necessary fend off any bad press that occasionally arises. The association is always keen to have new members. Please check out the website for further information and don’t hesitate to contact any of the members or the association itself .  http://www.microwaveassociation.org.uk/
