Microwave cooked breakfast in a mug

Just to show you how easy using your microwave can be I not only made this easy cooked breakfast at the weekend, but I photographed its making to demonstrate how easy it was.

Ingredients needed. 1 Egg, 1 slice of buttered bread. maybe some cinnamon to taste and anything you fancy (Linda put some cooked bacon in hers to finish a proper cooked breakfast – I added some cheese to mine)

Here goes :

butter the bread and cut into bite sized pieces

place bread into a large mug.

break the egg into the mug and mix with the bread pieces.

place mug in microwave.

cook on high for 1 minute

cook on high for 1 minute, then stir and check egg is cooked. If not, cook for a further 10 seconds at a time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

sprinkle with a little cinnamon or cheese or anything really. If you do add bacon it should be cooked first.
