The Drivemate has arrived.
After a gruelling 2 years product development we have taken delivery of the first batch of our new 24 volt microwave ovens.
We can now offer an in vehicle cooking solution for any 24 volt vehicle. The Drivemate is based around a 3000 watt pure sine wave inverter. It has the capability to ‘invert’ 24 volts to 240 volts mains to power the microwave oven as well as other small devices in the cab.
Connected via a 50 Amp Anderson connector to the battery feed to the cab, the unit has its own isolation (power) switch, 2 x USB charging ports for mobile phones and tablets and a specially designed display to report the battery power available. Specially designed (patent pending) circuitry also prevents operation of the unit if the voltage is too low that the vehicle might not start.
The Drivemate is available in 2 variations. Either as a complete unit attached to the 20 litre, 800 watt microwave/grill oven or as a stand alone power supply to power your own microwave oven with the option of mounting straps to secure it in a different cupboard or under shelf.
Both units are now available in store here in Sellindge or at our online shop:
We are already selling these units as fast as we can make them. We expect them to replace the Samsung Roadmate. If you have a Samsung Roadmate we can still repair them but they are no longer available new.
